Acceptance of applications for employment in South Korea for the year 2024:
According to the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of South Korea and the Government of Pakistan regarding the departure and receipt of EPS workers, the Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC) is the only public sector organization in Pakistan under the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development. is working under and is authorized to implement the Korean Employment Permit System in Pakistan and make related announcements.
Under South Korea's employment permit system, Korean employers select candidates on Jobseeker Zoroaster for employment in Korea. To register on Jobseeker Zoroaster, a candidate must pass Korea's Point System for Employment Permit System (Korean Language Test and Skill Test). Pre-registration/registration for the 7th point system in Pakistan under the South Korea Employment Permit System is starting from February 2024 so aspirants/eligible aspirants are requested to O. Eligibility Criteria For Korean Jobs:
- Age should be between 18 years to 39 years (date of birth between 15 February 1984 to 14 June 2006). And hopefully don't get convicted by the court.
- Applicants must not be in South Korea illegally.
- Applicants must not have their name on the Exit Control List (ECL).
- Persons with any type of physical disability including amputation of hands and feet, spinal fusion, color blindness, or suffering from TB are not eligible to apply. I have worked or spent more than 5 years are not eligible to apply.
How to Apply For OEC Lottery:
- To participate in pre-registration (draw) one can register online only through the OEC website (www.oec.gov.pk).
- OEC Application Fee Rs. One Thousand (1000) OEC Official Account No (03-79010447-0112) Submit the submitted challan form at any branch of HBL Bank and attach it with your online application.
- Non-payment of OEC application fee of Rs.one thousand (1000) or falsification will be disqualified and will be banned for two years (bank challan form available on OEC website).
- The information given on the application ie name, date of birth gender, etc. will be used for employment in Riya which cannot be changed under any circumstances.
- Candidates who fail to register the following despite being successful in the lottery will be barred by HRD from applying under this system for the next 2 years.
Korea's work visa 2024 process is very simple:
- In the first phase, applications will be collected.
- Then the selected persons will be announced by drawing lots.
- Then there will be registration of selected persons.
- Then the Korean language test will be announced.
- Then there will be a Korean language test KLT.
- Then the application of those who pass the exam will be received.
- After that, there will be some skill tests and finally, the successful candidates who will get the work visa will be announced.
