  • Excise & Taxation Constable (BS-05)

The position of Excise & Taxation Constable (BS-05) is a key field role in the department. It includes duties such as assisting in tax collection, checking vehicle documents, and supporting operations against smuggling and narcotics.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Education:
    Secondary School Certificate (Matric) from a recognized board.
  2. Age:
    18 to 25 years.
  3. Nationality:
    Candidates must be domiciled in Punjab.
  4. Height:
    • Male: Minimum 5 feet 7 inches
    • Female: Minimum 5 feet 2 inches
  5. Chest (Male Only):
    33" – 34.5" (with expansion)
  6. Running Test:
    • Male: 1.6 km in 7 minutes
    • Female: 1.6 km in 10 minutes

Note:
Physical standards (height, chest, running) are mandatory, and no relaxation will be given.

How to Apply:

1. Candidates can download the application form, challan form, and affidavit from the official website: www.excise.punjab.gov.pk. While submitting the application, it is mandatory to attach the original paid challan of PKR 300. The fee can be deposited in any branch of the Bank of Punjab.

2. Complete applications must be submitted to the relevant Regional/Divisional Directorate of Excise & Taxation by May 11, 2026, during office hours. Applications received after the deadline or with incomplete/incorrect information will not be considered. Only applications submitted to the concerned Regional/Divisional offices will be entertained.

3. No relaxation will be given in physical standards such as height and chest measurements.

4. The schedule for physical tests (height, chest, etc.) and other examinations will be displayed at the respective Regional/Divisional offices. Call letters will be issued separately for interviews.

  • Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted

  • All documents must be complete and accurate

  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests/interviews
