. Special Balochistan Quota Relaxation: Balochistan domicile holders receive a 5-year upper age relaxation (instead of the standard 3-year quota relaxation), cumulative with general relaxation rules
. Skills Relaxation (BPS-01 to BPS-16): For posts requiring trainable technical skills (typing, shorthand, basic IT), a one-time conditional relaxation is permitted if certified candidates are unavailable
. Proficiency is evaluated before probation completion .

The written evaluation for uniformed cadres (ASI & Corporal) typically comprises a 50-mark multiple-choice question (MCQ) paper:
